Hi,

I'm having a new bathroom installed, I had hoped the bath would fit snugly into a 'crevice', however I have a 6cm gap on the side. I have know idea what will look better, just adding a ledge there or bringing the bathtub out a little.

I have attached pictures, any suggestions welcome!

It is a small bathroom!

Thank you!

I know nothing, but wouldn't it be simpler to add a wee ledge rather than change the position of the whole tub?

I also know nothing, but doesn’t the bath have to be flush with the wall?
Build a slight ledge and tile it

Could you tuck the toilet in the crevice and place the bath under the window if it will fit?

Can you build the wall out a little? That will give the cleanest finish.

Are you having tiles? They’ll take up a couple of cm

Get the chipping to nail some battens to the wall to create a ledge slightly lower than the bath. Then tile the ledge which should bring it to bath height.

Thanks for your suggestions everyone :) I'll just get a little ledge created

What are you putting on the side of the bath - tiles/bath panel? Make sure you take that into consideration before you put a ledge in as it may reduce the room needed
