I need to get one of these to close off the plumbing where we remove a dishwasher. 2 plumbing merchants haven't got one, so I've got something I think will work but if anyone could tell me where to find the exact same thing that could be delivered in 2 days that would be AMAZING.
Sink plumbing set is franke and it's 40mm if that helps at all?

This is the bit where the dishwasher goes in, so I need to close off this pipe

Pipe end cap. Have you tried Screwfix?

It's effectively a rodding eye and allows you to unblock the trap without having to remove the whole thing. If it's broken or damaged you'll probably need to replace the whole thing.

@stressedouttumbleweed just to say toDaft it isn't a rodding eye. Franke sinks come with an almost standard 3 pipe connector piece (usually grey pipes) also universal kits also come with a 3 and that one has just been blanked off. I have a Franke sink.

If the Franke sink is a standard washing machine/dishwasher spigot which it should be then the end piece goes inside the pipe to block it off. So one of these

If you want to see the amount of crap that comes in a universal kit for plumbing in a sink shows it here

The video at the bottom starts from the beginning, the clicky link starts from 5.14 which is where he shows the universal kit. Yes, I watch plumbing videos Grin

Thank you. I've actually ordered a set of spares from Franke, can we just change the bit the dishwasher is going into with one of the blanking caps & leave the connector for new house owners?

After all that, all I needed to do was take the drain hose off. It doesn't leak even if it's left open 🤪
