View from bedroom window is blocked by roof, can price be negotiable?

Saw a house looks ok however in master bedroom view from window is blocked by roof behind it. It's strange layout not sure why someone will stick up roof next to window. Can it be cause to bring down price a bit? Anyone has any experience in similar circumstances?

Presumably it's priced to reflect that already, but you can offer whatever you feel appropriate for the property.

Has the price not already been adjusted for that when it was valued?

I mean there’s nothing stopping you putting in an offer? Try it. The worst that happens is they don’t accept it.

Would you be happy with that view though even if they drop the price? It’s not going to go away.

You go and look at a house. You make an appropriate offer for the house based on what you feel it is worth at the time of viewing. It’s not like they have sneaked a roof in after you viewed it.

We have a roof blocking our view of our garden from our en-suite window. It’s not a window I use to look out of though so it doesn’t bother me at all.

What is the view being blocked?

Presumably the valuation was given with the roof there. If you think that the roof doesn't make it worth the value they're asking then put in a lower offer. Obviously you'll need to be prepared for them to say no though so depends how much you love the house really

Make an offer, but don't specify that's its lower due to view, they'll think your really odd.
