What colour should I go for??

Hi all, after some inspiration.

At the front of my house I have a small sitting room. Its quite dark all the time as it doesn't get much sunlight. It does have a large window but we have a huge hedge which blocks more light. Don't want to get rid of the hedge as I don't like my neighbor and it separates us but that's a long story.

I much prefer sitting in the back of my house that is south facing.

Anyway I love the very moody dark style that is becoming popular now.

I'm also a fan of colour in my home. I have an emerald green hall and bright yellow bedroom for example.

I dislike gray (which is what it is now thanks to previous owner)

I have a stone ish comoured sofa and chair.

Its nice to lay in there at night when we get chance and the kids do use it to relax and watch TV. But other than that its used very little.

I quite like dusky pink. But I'm open to any colour/style.

I have some very heavy nice wine curtains that would fit so that's a possibility.

Thanks

Ooh, I’m jealous, I love colour but husband is too cautious. We compromised with F&B Oval room blue as a feature wall and Strong white for the rest. F&B do these three colour combos charts on their website and recommend Setting Plaster (dusty pink) as a partner for Oval Room blue. I really wanted to use it but lost that battle. We have a navy sofa, a orange/red sofa and a mustard yellow statement chair in that room and IMHO it looks amazing.
