recirculating extraction for induction hob

what's the most discreet type you have seen? - hob on a work top not island so no space behind the hob for a down draft pop up style one and really want to find the smallest most discreet sensibly priced option to go on the wall as there will be no upper cupboards to house it in. Don't want to lose hob space by having the new type of hob with down draft built into the centre. Have to have it for building regs and also as we don't want the living space getting greasy or smelly ! anyone seen anything stylish and affordable ?

We had this same problem. We found some lovely ones on Luxair. We have a slimline ceiling one in white. You hardly notice it.

It's really quiet as well.

@Twizbe do you have a picture at all ? I haven't been able too find any ceiling ones that recirculate other than ones which hover over islands

It's on at the moment but can turn the light off....

I'm not 100% sure it recirculates .....husband made the final choice but I'm sure the ones we picked were as they are designed for islands .....

Luxair had a ton of options though. We really hate extractor fans and spent ages looking for one.

Hopping onto the thread, I'm just looking into these options for my kitchen... Twizbe why do you hate extractor fans? What is the advantage of a recirculating extractor? I've heard the filters aren't always as good as they need to be, what happens to the moisture?

Most are fugly tbh. Also we're a very tall family and I've lost count of the times we've smacked our heads them 🤕

Ahhhhh, I see. Well that would put you off. Grin

My issue is that we’re on an internal wall so cannot extract outside so have to have recycling one big they’re never great !
Haven’t found any that are discreet and attractive yet that are wall mounted
