Dishwasher with deep drawers?

Our current dishwasher doesn’t fit our deep pasta plates (lower level) or our wine glasses (top level). They’re all oversized - I get that. But are there any dishwashers that are more accommodating towards large plates or long stem glasses?

TIA 🙏

Is yours adjustable at all?

Ours is a bosch, fairly recent model, and the top rack is adjustable up or down. So I can move it up to get more space in the lower rack - but then there isn’t as much space in the top rack - or vice versa.

That’s the thing- I need more space both on the bottom and top level.

Is that a doomed endeavour?

You won't get more space at the same time on both levels unfortunately, unless your dishwasher was taller. And that's not possible because dishwashers come in a standard height to fit under worktops. Some lucky people have two dishwashers, that might be your only option.

2 slimline dishwashers next to each other?

I am about to change to stemless wine glasses for red wine: less breakable, less knock-overable, more dishwasher friendly.

But still want stems for bubbles and white.

I put my tall wine glasses in the bottom, they've never come to any harm.

Meile. Deep drawers and space for wine glasses in the bottom drawer. They clip in so no chance of a smash.

Thank you, I will investigate!
