Toilet ventilation

Hi I am hoping someone can help. We are in the process of fitting a toilet in the cupboard under our stairs. I have been told I need to add ventilation.
Currently it has a fixed upvc window which doesn't open.
I am looking at options before the building regs people come.
Would a trickle vent in the window frame be suitable ventilation or does it have to be changed to an opening window/extractor fan?

I thought you needed an extractor fan that could remove 15L of moisture from the air per minute or a window that can opened more than 15 degrees.

You need a fan, as your window is fixed. You could change the window to an opening one. We have both, passed building inspection.

Thank you I will start looking for a window company to replace mine.

You need an e trzctid fan but I think it us preferable to put ut through the wall. Small fans use a 110mm duct and plumbers have a core drill that size because if us the same as soil pipe.

I recommend one that comes on with the light switch automatically and has a 30 minute timed run.

The Envirovent SIL100T is very quiet and efficient (it is a rebranded Soler & Palau Silent 100, same company, but often priced lower. The best small fan I know and costs £77).
