I know these used to be an issue as the glazing bars were prone to falling off. Is that still the issue?

Replacing a back upstairs window that has lots of little panes - original 1908 windows. But it is f*cked.

Hi, can you post a picture what you mean as glazing bar is an ambiguous term?
We have original led crittal (1920s/1930s) with glazing bars and are replacing with aluminium frames with internal bars to replicate the original. We contemplated restoring the original crittal using double glazing but the reviews were not good for warmth and condensation, both of which were problems we wanted to solve.
