We currently live in SE London but hoping to move outside the M25, commuting into London a few days a week. We are interested in the towns/villages near the Thameslink in Bedfordshire (esp Harlington & Flitwick stations) because that works well for our commutes.
We viewed a house in Westoning yesterday which we loved - but we didn’t see any other families & are worried it’s more of a place for retired people / empty nesters?? Does anyone know whether there is a family friendly community there? I work part time and the kids are very young so I really hope to make a local network of mummy friends to hang with - does anyone know if this exists in Westoning?? We have 3 kids - a pre schooler, a toddler and a newborn.
