What are your favourites? I'm not looking for antiques, just second-hand good quality furniture for reasonable prices.

Some of the charities like Trinity Hospice and the British Heart foundation have furniture shops and have good things at times.

It is an antiques place but not a posh expensive one

Criterion Auction Rooms in Islington might be worth a look.

local auction houses are always good for furniture my daughter has an auction house and each fortnight at least 50 lots are furniture of some sort from welsh dressers to sofas as they get a lot of house clearances
and prices dont go high due to low resale price for dealers

There’s an Oxfam furniture shop on Streatham High Road, and a BHF a bit further along. There’s also a big BHF shop on the Old Kent Road.
