Qooker tap - how much?

Has anyone got a Quooker tap? I'm being sucked in by the adverts and would love one but wondering:

  • how much for the 3 in 1 (boiling, hot and cold)
  • how much for the super-deluxe version that includes the cube for chilled and sparkling water
  • does it break down/need lots of servicing?

Any experience? Just a daydream at the moment.

For prices you can use Google and they come up. I had an insinkerator which is a different brand doing the same thing and it was £400, I think quooker is more.

We didn't have any servicing issues - moved house and will be putting one in here.

£1200. Love it love it love it. I've also had one in a flat I let out and no issues at all after 4 years.

Thank you - I did have a google but got to a point on their website where you had to sign up an expression of interest to find the prices and I didn't want all the emails that would inevitably follow - I knew Mumsnet would know!

I am going to get a Qettle, it seems to be very similar but much cheaper.

I had a new kitchen last year and we had a Quooker put in. My husband was horrified at the cost "just for a tap" and insisted it wasn't worth it. It was about £1100 but even he is sold now we have it. He loves it, I love it and our 10yr old loves it.

We haven't had it long enough to have serviced so can't comment on that.

I did my research and found out that the Quooker is the only tap to reach full boiling point, a friend has had several hot taps (in various places) and ended up getting rid of the copy one it as wasn't worth it.

We have the 3 in 1, boiling, hot and cold. Fab. Well worth it... but even i drew the line at the cost of the one that does sparkling water too (i bought a soda stream for that) 🤣

Warning though - it does make you drink more tea/coffee as its so easy.
