Please can you recommend one for me? It’s got the bathroom ceiling and would like it just to be matt white.

We use masonary paint ( for the outside of houses ) as recommended by a decorator that we had in . It's designed to deal with damp conditions

Another top tip from the same guy was to put woolly loft insulation around the bath before you put the side on as it helps
Keep the water warm for longer

Not a recommendation as such but we got the Dulux one and it didn't work.

Zinsser perma mould resistant interior paint.

OneStepInTheFuture · 30/03/2021 20:13

We've used Dulux and Johnsons bathroom paints and neither worked

I like the tip about masonry paint....I may try that in future.

notrub · 30/03/2021 20:37

Neither worked???

Mould resistant paints cannot STOP mould completely. But they will resist it far longer than standard paint does.

If you ceiling is moulding over a lot, then you need to improve the ventilation in the bathroom.

Can't see Masonry paint making a blind bit of difference, or the bath insulation for that matter.

Thanks for all the suggestions- I will check out the options!
