The gas hob I inherited with the house has (finally) died and I am going to replace with an induction - hurrah!
Presumably I need a gas engineer to come out, remove the existing hob and cap the gas then an electrician to fit the induction?
I have a normal plug socket under the hob but presumably I'd need to expect to have it rewired to run a thicker (?) wire to it?
