Adding a new window

Has anyone added a new window where there is currently a brick wall and be able give an idea of cost and things to consider? It would be on a ground floor.

Cost of window, a few hundred to over £1k deep on size and type, a lintel. You’ll need a cat nic lintel and then either bricks or stone to make a lintel to match what’s on the rest of your house, same or the sill.
Might need planning or listed building consent. Replastering and decorating on the inside
