Carpet costs

I've been quoted £1400 for 3 bedrooms, stairs and landing, quote includes polypropylene carpet, 8mm underlay and fitting. Around 60sqm total.

Is that about right?

That sounds like a good price to me.

You’ll be amazed how quickly it’s done. I’m so used to works lasting forever and overrunning. This will be a nice surprise.

I know what you mean, everything takes tripple the time you expect and double the cost.

I'm so looking forward to new carpet, current carpets are absolutely gopping!

Yes sounds okay, quality of carpet is so variable. Ask for the brand and price per square metre and compare online, maybe?

that sounds reasonable we have paid so far £500 for a bedroom and stairs/hall carpet and probably about the same again to go for front room and sheet vinyl flooring in kitchen
