Tiles for Victorian house kitchen

I'm in a house built in the 1880s. Kitchen has nasty laminate and concrete underneath as it wasn't always the kitchen.

If you're in a Victorian house what tiles/floor do you have in the kitchen?

Thanks in advance.

I have vinyl tiles over floating floor- there's about a foot or 18in air space underneath. House is about 150 years old - it isn't the original kitchen either.
