I'm currently having a new central heating system installed and need two column radiators in a big living room.
One is going under the window but I'm not sure where to put the other one. The room would look balanced if the second rad was on the wall opposite the window. However, the TV needs to go there.

If the TV were wall mounted above the rad, it would be fine. But I've always preferred the TV at eye level for comfort's sake and I don't want to hide an expensive radiator behind a TV stand. Would it look odd to have the rad on an adjacent wall? Please share your TV set up and where you hide your wires, Freebies box etc.
Sorry, 1st world problems I know.

Radiators are never something to make a feature of, expensive or not imo! I'd hide them all if possible! I have my tv wall mounted on chimney breast. It's not where I'd love it to go, but it's central in front of my 4 seater. All wires are chased into the breast and I have a sideboard next to it that holds all the gadgets so nothing is on show. The rad is behind the sofa. Probably not great as it will absorb heat, but I make sure sofa is pulled out slightly. I love that it's not visible though. I should probably have another 1 in the room, as it's large, but it feels warm enough in there as it is.

Standard rads for me, TV is wall mounted on angled bracket

Whatever layout you choose, OP, I wouldn’t put the tv directly above a radiator! I doubt the rising heat will do much good to the computerised components inside it, which need to be kept cool.
I have my tv on a fairly low stand, as I get an uncomfortable crick in my neck having to look up to see the screen on wall mounted ones. It’s 13 feet away from the radiator, and well to the side of my open fireplace.

I’d put the radiator somewhere else. I don’t like wall-mounted TVs at all and would actively remove it. My TV is on a low table.
