We want to extend somehow and make a kitchen diner, but we don't know exactly what we want / which way to extend. So where do we start? Do we need to get an architect (feels expensive!)? Structural engineer? Would builders need plans in order to give us a quote? Literally no idea where to start....all advice welcome please.
