Kitchen lighting- help

We're having a new kitchen put in and need to choose lights. At the moment, it's just a single dangly 1950s light shade in the centre of the ceiling (!!)

There are lots of pictures online but I'd like to see some in real life kitchens for get an idea.

Any have a photo they can share?

no photo, but I have two sets of four lights on a rail (if that makes sense). You can angle them to where you want. They illuminate worktop, hob and sink from above without shadows.

did think about undercabinet lights but with these there was no need. Take poundland bulbs too.
