Garden furniture out of stock at John Lewis?

I’ve found the perfect garden dining table and chairs set online at John Lewis but it’s out of stock. I have then started to look at other types they sell and most of them are out of stock as well! Is that a lockdown thing and they’ll have more available next month or are JL in trouble?

I ordered table lamps back in October. Still haven’t received them so have now cancelled the order.

Tried to order a 3m parasol to replace ours which is falling to bits. Most websites say order now for May delivery but I wouldn’t bet on them arriving. Thought I had managed to find one but I received a message to say it will be coming direct from supplier in 2 weeks. Really annoying as I needed it for next weekend. Not holding my breath that it will turn up.

This is in stock, mine arrived last week and seems solid.

I have bought quite a few things from JL in the last six months and they are always out of stock. Ranging from a trivet to a fridge - it’s out of stock!

I have gone on Amazon/M&S to buy things I can’t find on John Lewis as it’s OOS and AO for electronics which is a shame as I try to support JL. In fact I wanted underwear and they were sold out of that too but you can get notifications sent to your phone if you have the app or an email!

Can I piggyback on this thread as some of you have amazing finding skills!

I've been looking for garden chairs to relax in, but don't want the 'blocky' armchairs which are currently fashionable. I actually quite like this one. I’d rather have a John Lewis one as I know them as a brand but I may not be able to! Has anyone heard of Charles Bentley-are they widely sold? Well built?!
