I know right, nobody thought that sinead o'connor's house was going to look like the next catalogue!

Number3BigCupOfTea · 20/03/2021 10:30

Wow, that red wharf bay house is lovely.

I want that one two! I'll take both.

DIshedUp · 20/03/2021 10:35

Yes it looks lovely, those big windows looking out onto the sea!

The decor is a little ecclectic, and it has a lot of lounges, but who doesn't want to paint a house they move into anyway? Id want to paint it if it was all magnolia

EggysMom · 20/03/2021 10:44

I must be the only person who loves the house and loves the colours - so nice to see something other than magnolia or grey. I hate grey walls, they are so cold.

Onlinedilema · 20/03/2021 10:46

Yes please to The Angelsey house.

I love the house. Don’t like the decor/colours. I also hate magnolia and grey though, but other colours do exist!
Hallyup5 · 20/03/2021 10:48

As lovely as the house could be, I would never spend a million euros to live next to a train line.

Shodan · 20/03/2021 10:52

I wouldn't buy it.

It needs way too much to be done to it to be worth it, for me.

I don't have an issue with the fact that it's an expensive semi-d though - I grew up in a 7 bedroom semi-d so it's not that unusual.

Fussyeaternightmare · 20/03/2021 11:27

Jesus, she bought it for 1.7 million, Christ that’s a big loss to make on it, property prices in Dublin went mental in the boom, I remember dh and I window shopping the estate agents windows when there for a weekend and it was unbelievable the prices tiny pokey wee places were going for

SwedishEdith · 20/03/2021 11:29

I'd love it. Only issue for me is you need to buy so much furniture to fill those rooms.

And it's a semi not a terraced house.

MarshaBradyo · 20/03/2021 11:31

Unlike most I don’t like it much, it doesn’t appeal

en0la · 20/03/2021 11:33

Yes, I'd keep most of the colours too.the blue bedroom would change and so would the white in the bathrooms. I'd brighten up the pale pink too.

The pp who called it a disgrace, I'd say your post is more if a disgrace.

I love most of it. Not the blue bedroom or the pink (I don't like pink) but the rest is nice.

It's really interesting how a group of people can look at the same house and think the full range of dingy/awful/lovely

SoupDragon · 20/03/2021 11:47

The pink sofa and floral rug appear more than once too. I'm guessing furniture was rented for the photos.

Juliesipadwillcallyouback · 20/03/2021 11:48

I'm not sure about the pine, but overall I love it!

I wonder if she would throw in the rainbow rug, it's fabulous!

Viviennemary · 20/03/2021 11:51

It's not very nice. Decor is totally dire. the Garden is awful and that dreadful outbuilding.

Creamcrackersandricecakes · 20/03/2021 11:51

I like it - bloody lovely to see a house with some character and colour instead of grey, silver and beige, (don't forget the crushed velvet sofa 🤮🤮🤮!)

StCharlotte · 20/03/2021 11:58

I'd never have had her down as a lover of candy colours.

Kljnmw3459 · 20/03/2021 12:02

Lovely sized rooms. Easy to decorate to my own style. Nice size garden.

Wroxie · 20/03/2021 12:27

@SpacePotato

The side of the house looks like lego bricks.

Original features are beautiful. Love the entrance hall. Don't even mind the pink and purple.

The corner bricks that look like lego are in Rastafarian colours, she put out a reggae album in the early 2000s. No idea if she still considers herself Rastafarian or not but she did at that point anyway.

Aside from that the house looks like it was decorated by a hyperactive child and I imagine before she moved out and it was still full of stuff that it looked even more unhinged.

SwedishEdith · 20/03/2021 12:41

Agree. It's really interesting how it doesn't seem to occur to some people that the house is for sale and that they can change the decor.

Cocolapew · 20/03/2021 13:46

I presumed the garden was just levelled, if it has been lying empty it was probably a mess much like mine
