I wouldn't say no tbh

Love the view and the original features.
Hate the decor, layout and the small devoid of plants/grass/greenery garden.

MrsBobDylan · 20/03/2021 07:38

She has chosen a tradition London squat palette of colours but aside from that, it is a lovely house.

Interesting choice to create a large gravel drive in the back garden.

tanstaafl · 20/03/2021 07:47

Lovely house, but not spending nearly a million euros to have a mainline railway behind my house!

changingnames786 · 20/03/2021 08:12

There isn't a single thing I like about it, genuinely would still pick my house despite it being less than half the size! (Well I might take it if it was given, but swiftly sell for something more to my liking Wink)

CaptainMyCaptain · 20/03/2021 08:14

I'm not keen on that bedroom but, otherwise, i's lovely.

CaptainMyCaptain · 20/03/2021 08:14

it's

Onlinedilema · 20/03/2021 08:15

If buy it definitely. There is so much I could do with that garden.

Sakesman · 20/03/2021 08:18

Love it

Hotcuppatea · 20/03/2021 08:19

I love that.

Great view and I like the house but I would never pay that for a semi.

I wonder why she is selling - I've always had a soft spot for Sinead, a talented and passionate woman with some difficult health issues, I hope she is thriving.

EsmesRedPetticoat · 20/03/2021 08:39

I thought she died a few years ago. A quick google tells me she clearly didn’t. Who the heck am I thinking of then?

Sleepthief · 20/03/2021 08:47

@EsmesRedPetticoat Dolores O'Riordan?

HedgeOwl · 20/03/2021 08:48

Dolores O'Riordan?

Wildswim · 20/03/2021 08:51

Anyone know where Sinead lives now?

I'm not a fan of the house. Limited outdoors space and there are far nicer stretches of coastline in Ireland.

3peassuit · 20/03/2021 08:56

I’d love a period sea front house and Bray is lovely. It’s a yes from me. I would Farrow and Ball up though.

EsmesRedPetticoat · 20/03/2021 09:06

Dolores O’Riordan yes! Thank you
And the house is a good size but I wouldn’t pay that much money for a semi-detached unless it was really really special.

Blogdog · 20/03/2021 09:10

Not mad on the decor but if you really want celebrity taste here’s 50 Cent’s house.

Notavegan · 20/03/2021 09:14

Garden looks like a cat litter tray

JensonsAcolyte · 20/03/2021 09:15

Ooh I have that exact table and chairs!

Fussyeaternightmare · 20/03/2021 09:31

It looks a bit like the student share I lived in 15 years ago.

This is more my bag if I’m spending that much

NoseOfJericho · 20/03/2021 10:07

I would buy it - if it was detached. It looks comfortable. Some of the coloured bits are fine, not how I would decorate but could live with most of them, paint over the rest.

nettie434 · 20/03/2021 10:24

That Anglesey house is amazing EsmesRedPetticoat. I'm not fond of the furniture but that's fine as the owners will be taking it! The views are beautiful.

Good point from Frogswimming about the Smile houses in the Royal Crescent being terraced. Rules out most of Mayfair or Chelsea too if you want a detached house.

I'd have been a bit disappointed if Sinead O'Connor's house had been terribly tasteful and neutral. I think it would be a fantastic location and it looks as if there are a lot of original features.

Because I was so intrigued that it didn't look like a celebrity house, I did a bit of googling. The poster who said it had been empty for a while is right. I was amazed at the drop in price compared with what she paid. It was €1.7m in the boom.
