Just for the book shelves!

Longdistance · 19/03/2021 20:00

Oooh, I love Bray. Yes to giving it a lick of paint.

RolloTomassi · 19/03/2021 20:03

So interesting to see how a celeb has their house. It has lots of space but looks quite dingy and basic inside, esp the kitchen and bathroom. The stamp duty rates over there are a bargain!

ElspethFlashman · 19/03/2021 20:05

I like that rainbow rug actually,.where.is it from?

I think the house looks damp - you'd wonder what the BER is.

Theunamedcat · 19/03/2021 20:07

I could live with the decor except the kitchen that would have to go

ElspethFlashman · 19/03/2021 20:09

As I suspected, the BER is a D2!

Fuck that, you'd spend a fortune on insulation before you could do anything.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 19/03/2021 20:10

No, I don’t fancy it. Loo flush is broken.

Looks in need of redecorating. She’s obviously moved out.

SpacePotato · 19/03/2021 20:11

The side of the house looks like lego bricks.

Original features are beautiful. Love the entrance hall. Don't even mind the pink and purple.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 19/03/2021 20:13

She appears to have napalmed the garden for some reason.

dannydyerismydad · 19/03/2021 20:15

@ElspethFlashman that rug is from EBay. Just search for rainbow rug. DS has the same one.

user143677433 · 19/03/2021 20:15

God I would love that house! Unfortunately brexit says no ☹️

Italianmoma1983 · 19/03/2021 20:27

You can get the rug on amazon I have the same Candy Multicoloured Rainbow Design Rug. Available in 6 Sizes (120cm x 170cm) www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00M68EXCK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_G04HYHFQX1CBPJ744SFK?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

1forAll74 · 19/03/2021 20:29

YES,, that house is lovely, I thought she once lived in a small castle years ago.might be wrong though.

doublehalo · 19/03/2021 20:40

Amazing house and a bargain at that price. Bray is nice.

Cocolapew · 19/03/2021 20:41

I love the rug too

CorianderBee · 19/03/2021 20:43

Why's she bought the same rug four times?

frogswimming · 19/03/2021 20:44

Those terraced houses are traditional in Dublin. That's like complaining the royal crescent in Bath isn't detached.

I would say it could be noisy though there's a few pubs on the seafront there and crowds in the summer. Although, I'd put up with that I think. I'd like it. It looks like she's cleared it out. The views would be amazing.

toffeebutterpopcorn · 19/03/2021 20:49

Not very ‘rock and roll’ is it? I would have expected a wee studio or some instruments lying around.

Barmbraic · 19/03/2021 20:53

You can never leave the Braytrix...

Ikeameatballs · 19/03/2021 21:00

I like it.

It would be just the right level of “project” for me; painting, decorating and new kitchen.

actiongirl1978 · 19/03/2021 21:23

@1forAll74 that's Enya who lives in a castle. Couple of miles down the road.

bettertimesarecomingnow · 19/03/2021 22:02

It's awful!

Doublechins · 19/03/2021 22:05

God no it's hideous

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 19/03/2021 22:07

@Nohomemadecandles

A question I never thought I'd be asked!

I'd need to redecorate but its a nice space. I'd go so far as to say Nothing Compares...

Grin

I love it! V nineties but unusual nineties.

itbemay1 · 19/03/2021 22:15

Bray is gorgeous. House not so much.
