F and B colour match silk??

I really want to get a colour match in F & B ammonnite. However I currently have a silk on my walls can I get the colour march in silk or will it be odd? Can I even paint matt over silk?

You'll need to seal the walls with something like Zinsser Bulls Eye123 primer/sealer if using matt on silk.
