Garden furniture

Our old garden furniture has not done well in the winter storms has blown out of the garden or had legs snapped off As lots of places have low stock I’m dithering between the Hartman Vienna and IKEA Bondholmen lounge sets. The Vienna looks nicer but the IKEA looks like it would be heavier to blow around! Anyone that can comment please help me to stop dithering Grin

Don't know either - but I've looked and it seems that the IKEA set is hard wood?

I've had really expensive hardwood furniture in the past - and despite teak-oiling it, etc it just doesn't last. We do live by the coast though.

Two years ago I bought something like this (sort of grey plastic rattan) and my goodness, it's better! (I don't think it is this one - but similar)

I have found wood always gets ruined eventually, despite treating and covering in bad weather. I have had rattan garden furniture for around 8 years, it's been left out in every type of weather, never covered or looked after and still looks brand new.
