Online kitchen consultations experience

Has anyone had an online consultation / quote recently from Wren/Magnet etc? if so, did they put pressure on you to order afterwards? In all likelihood I will go with a local independent company, but in the absence of being able to go into showrooms, i wanted to get an idea of costs for comparison before I made any decisions, but I don't then want constant hassle from the chains to order from them.

Got one from Magnet around the end of January. Wasn’t a great experience as their IT was down. They were asking us to put a deposit down there and then to get a ‘free’ dishwasher which we declined. We simply said we’re looking at all of our options before making a decision. We haven’t heard anything since.

I have done online consultations with Wickes, Magnet and Wren this month. Wren was the best one in terms of salesperson and listeing to what we wanted, and very much better on transparency of pricing. There is the usual 'offer only stands till Wednesday' nonsense, but none of them were high pressure afterwards other than a follow up email. It's really helpful to see your kitchen in their 3D software.

Brilliant, thanks both - seems like it won't do any harm to get a quote for comparison.
