Has anyone used a diy asbestos sampling kit? We have just moved, and our house has several areas of thick artex that may contain asbestos. We can get a company round to test, but while I was searching a lot of the home testing kits came up. I wondered if they were any good, because they will save us some cash.
Also, I was wondering how it works if we were to skim over the (potentially asbestos containing) artex... would we then not be able to drill into the walls to put up paintings and mirrors etc? Because surely we would be drilling down into the artex?
