This put you off an area...dodgey cafes everywhere..??

Posting for a friend...has seen a house she really likes but is aware of maybe 5 cafes that have all sprung up in the main road. [ same owner]...many people have told her its blantantly albanian mafia as some cafes have been reported for drug dealing and after hours serving, drug deals have been witnessed by neighbours that can see into the rear of the properties etc...so now there are large groups of men hanging around outside them all until they fully re open....Area is in E London and rapidly changing with high house prices.

That's London for you. Places like you describe exist in all but the most salubrious areas.
More concerning than "dodgy cafes" would be overall high crime levels, gang violence, street robbery etc.
And apart from the cafes, is there much community cohesion?

Street crime is low, I would say community cohesion is fairly good...area is LeytE10...I live fairly close in E17 and that recently has huge amounts of phone snatchings and muggings this week !
