Replacement (1980's) kitchen door

One of mine is damaged!

They clearly don't make these anymore but does any one know where I may be able to source a spare or a look a like? I can't see any online, although I'm sure some must still be knocking around. Plan to replace the kitchen in a few years but in the meantime I'd quite like a matching set.

Any help appreciated.

I think we had that kitchen in 1994 from MFI. What's the nature of the damage, but might be easier to repair than replace?

It's definitely an old one! Unfortunately it is beyond repair. The only replacement I've seen is from an American company which I imagine would be extremely pricy!

we threw a whole kitchen of these doors away when we put the new kitchen in last year maybe google 1987 kitchen doors on ebay we found a dated advert behind the cupboards

This may actually be the kitchen in the house we’ve just bought and I’d happily send you a door for postage if it’s right as it’s being ripped out anyway in a few months. What size is the one you are looking for?

archery50 · 14/03/2021 23:21

@GuckGuckDoose that would be fantastic if you have one available, I'd be happy to pay you something on top of postage too. I'll get the measurements tomorrow to see if they match any of yours.

@isseys4xmastinselcats thank you, I had a good trawl through eBay with no luck. I'm guessing most of them got sold on or thrown out a while ago Grin

@GuckGuckDoose I have just measured and it is 50cm width and 55cm height. If you do have one that you don't mind posting that would be absolutely great thank you. If you have the matching drawer front that would also be brilliant but the cupboard door is my main search. Thanks again

I’m on the case! Will check when I’m there later.

@GuckGuckDoose thank you, I'm keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
