What are your home design 'hacks' - by which I mean your best ideas or tips or nifty ideas! Everything from layout, design features through to storage and back.
My reason for asking is we're extending out the back and need to tick a lot of boxes, dining table half in the room / merging with kitchen, toilet, somewhere to put the vacuum and shoes, toys and play area, second TV sitting area, overlooking the garden.
I'm an rubbish at visualising... Help me out with your practical best bits!
