Where to find an independent cleaner / NW London

Hello,

I am new to London having relocated here a year ago. I'm looking to find a cleaner and a colleague suggested I look into this lovely forum for recommendations.

Is there a site (like Craigslist) where cleaners might advertise their services, or is some Facebook group a trusty resource.

Additionally, if someone has a quality cleaner they've used in the past they would want to recommend, please share.

P.S. I did a good amount of Searching through the forum to try and find any leads, but found a lot of discussion around expected rates or amount of time that's fair for cleaning. If there's a different topic I should be looking at, please let me know.

Join your local Facebook group and create a post asking for recommendations.

I think the best way is to ask your neighbours if they know anyone - looking directly on FB etc for cleaners' own posts can produce timewasters, so as PP says getting a recco will save hassle

I'm in NW London, going rate is about £12 p/h, rates can range 10-15£ ph, and good cleaners tend to be in demand. It helps a lot if the person lives v close to you as otherwise travel costs mount up

Join Nextdoor.co.Uk and have a look on there - our local area SW London has many posts for people asking for recommendations for cleaners and cleaners offering their services.

Thank you so much for your recommendations!
