We put in an offer on a lovely house on Saturday and have been told we will hear today. Very nervous as it's the first offer we've ever made; we are (ancient) first-time buyers and feel so naive!
The EA told us that there were already offers in and that the vendors would decide between them all today. We went in with what we believe is an attractive, serious offer, we're not interested in being drawn into a bidding war or whatever. Trying to remain pragmatic and remind myself that there will always be another house if this one doesn't work out.
But I don't think I'm going to get much work done today! Anyone else waiting to hear?
