new bathroom, saving costs and the whiteness question

Hi, OK so my head is spinning on deciding on buying all the bits for a new bathroom. Is it generally cheaper to just buy a complete suite and call it done? Or I can shop different brands eg. bathtub and vanity. But what about the 'white' could it be mis-matched?

Thanks would love to hear your experience.

I was worried white the whiteness issue, but it wasn't a problem. I've got three different makes in my en suite for the shower tray, loo and basin/vanity unit and it is not an issue!
I did check with the bathroom shop I ordered it from too.
And I'm extremely picky!

I reused my enamel tub when renovating my bathroom as it was better than a new bath : it hasn’t been an issue re matching & again I am fussy. I think with the pieces not being next to each other & the shapes, the eyes cannot see a difference in colour
