We are moving into our new house on Friday. The last time I saw the property was in September, so I’m pouring over my photos, deciding what changes I’d like to make.
The photo attached is not my property, but a few doors down, part of the same terrace, with the exact same flooring in the hallway, so I assume that it is the flooring that was put in when they were built about 100 year ago.
It is like a kind of resin with little tiles in it. Can anyone tell me what it is called please?

What is this flooring?

It looks like Terrazzo
. Modern day Terrazzo is expensive and is marble chips suspended in a form of concrete and then polished. We had it in our previous house in the porch. Very hard wearing.

Yes it is terrazzo. Very popular right now. If you want to keep it, look up Title Doctors for examples of what it can look like all cleaned up.

Brilliant. Thank you! I do quite like it, I wonder if it’ll be quite cold. Now I know it’s name I shall look it up.

Yep Terrazzo. I don't like it but as pp said it's very on trend at the moment.

I think it needs sealing sometimes. It's lovely.
