Council want to put something against my wall

the council are planning to put ev chargers on our road. I noticed from the road markings they are planning to put the feeder unit against my front wall. I really don't want this. I am strongly objecting but just wondered if anyone had experience of similar or could offer a legal view?

Front wall of your house or your boundary wall?

If it's your boundary wall, they will be installing the equipment on the (Council owned) pavement. I don't think there is much you can do. What is your objection?

What is your reason for the objection? Will it block your driveway? Are they installing it on your property? Will it be touching your wall?

Do you mean against your boundary wall? Surely it's exactly the same as having a telegraph pole, cable box or street light outside your property. It's just luck of the draw that it happens to be outside your propery and not really something you can complain about unless its causing an obstruction such as blocking access to a drive or they are situating it right infront a gate.

it will be very close to front garden wall meaning I can't paint or maintain it. it's a small front garden so it will be imposing
