We are just into our second year of renting privately.

We are due the check by the agency later this week, its the second one.

We have damaged nothing, in fact we have complaints with regard to damp and some repairs and yet my anxiety is through the roof!!!

It’ll be fine. We’ve had so many of those. Just show the place as being clean, neat & tidy. If you have any complaints, this is a good opportunity to talk them through with someone, but I’d follow up with the agent/landlord in an email, as it may be a third party carrying out the inspection.

Yes it's horrible isn't it
Most of my checks have been fine
I had a horrible spiteful letting agent who came round once though
But to be fair that was once in all the times
So you'd be very unlucky
But I get the feeling
I agree to follow up in writing, just so you've got your back really
But if there's any problems that you tell them, they should write them down
