Changing Tile colour.

We have inherited dark red metro tiles in our kitchen. These make it quite dark and are quite limiting in what colour items we can have.
I just want a 'quick fix' for a year or so until we retire and completely sort the kitchen.

What have you used? What would you recommend? Tile stickers? Tile paint? If so, which make, please?

Tile paint put on with a small roller. Afterwards you can put in the grout lines with a grouting pen.

Thank you @Beebumble2

Is there a particular brand you would recommend?

I used the Ronseal one coat from Homebase. I carefully painted each tile individually rather than rolling straight across.
The tiles have to be scrupulously clean and dry first.

@Beebumble2
Thank you. I shall look at that and take your advice.

I used some cheapy stickers from Walplus on Amazon on my tiles. They've held up very well but I only did sparodic tiles (patterned stickers) so I'm not sure what it would be like doing a whole wall

@Violetroselily
Thank you. I shall have a look at those too.
