Loft bathroom - thoughts and advice please!

Hi MN's!

Looking for some advice on our new 2nd floor loft en-suite bathroom.

Our space is a bit limited but it is fixed, so trying to find the best layout for it.

The distance from the shower bench to the wall is 1287mm. We have okay water pressure in the house (but not great) so I'm slightly concerned that only a part of the shower will be 'wet'. Maybe we should have a more projected shower head? Or is there benefit to having a part of the shower that is dry?

I'm also thinking we move the hand shower into the middle of the wall, so at least you can use it across the whole shower.

Has anyone got any suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks!

I may be inclined to move the rainfall head a little further from the wall but I don't think there's a problem with the whole shower area not being wet. Water travels further than you think! I'd prefer a bit of a drier area at the opposite end due to having to accommodate young children (who strip off the second they hear the water and don't take no for an answer) in the shower with me. It'd be nice for them to not have to look up and have water in their face.
Obviously that may not be an issue for you though!

I'd put the hand shower in a position where you can sit on the bench and wash yourself because it'd be easier for shaving legs etc.

Otherwise looks nice. Do you have space for a loo roll holder on the wall? Looks like the towel rail is a bit in the way of where I'd want it.
