Please help with plumbing!

Hello! Due to my disabilities, I’ve never been the one to plumb anything in. However I’m now needing to plumb in a dishwasher (to the left of this pic - hose & waste pipe long enough) into my new build home’s kitchen where there is already a washing machine.....

Yeah, I’m a bit lost! I assumed the fill hose would easily attach where I’ve circled in blue and the waste pipe where I’ve circled in green. However it doesn’t fit? (Yep, I spotted the blue cap! That will be removed)

The red arrow is where the washing machine’s fill hose is attached.

The second image was taken behind that white panel at the back where the stop tap is.

Can anyone help me with what I need to do please? Is the area circled in blue definitely where the fill hose will need to go? If so, how do I make that happen? As the fill hose is too small, even when I unscrew the collar on the attachment in the image.

Please no mocking! Like I said, if I wasn’t disabled then I’d have been doing this myself for the past 20+ years!
Thank you

The images don't seem to have any arrow or circles?

MNWorldisCrazy · 28/02/2021 12:23

Ha! Apologies, I sent the wrong image.

The blue circle would be for outlet hose. Can't see what the one in green comes from.

MNWorldisCrazy · 28/02/2021 12:44

Ha! I really am daft! I thought that was the outlet Grin

Am I going to need a plumber do you think?

Is the green one linked to a water inlet pipe? Where is dw going in relation to the pipework.

MNWorldisCrazy · 28/02/2021 14:14

I just pulled the pipe circled in green and this appeared! Must've been left there by the builders. I'm presuming this is for the waste pipe?

The dishwasher will be in the cupboard to the left of this. The pipes are long enough, thankfully

Looks like it! If the pipe with the blue taps needs to be used for the inlet but has no free end then you would need a plumber.
