Our house needs three main upgrades - garage conversion, rear ground floor extension and over garage first floor extension to create 1/2 more bedrooms.
I am sure it would be more cost effective to do the lot in one go, but we are unsure as to whether we can afford that. We are looking at the garage conversion for now (which will also require new windows throughout and full house render). Are we mad to do a small amount now bearing in mind that we will have to undo some of the work later (mainly garage flat roof). Aware that we will need to ensure that the current structure will support a second storey at the right time.
