Quooker Tap - advice needed!

Doe anyone have any Quooker experience to share?

We are about to start ordering appliances for our new kitchen and I am pretty set on a Quooker 3 in 1 tap (DH thinks its a waste of money...) But I am confused about how they work.

I know they store the boiling water in a tank. But if I am just washing the dishes will it use hot water from Quooker tank till its used up and then I'd have to wait for it to heat up again if I wanted a cup of tea - or can you still get hot water as you normally would, heated from the house combi boiler?

We live in Scotland and our water quality is very good so I don't plan on buying the filter but are any of the other accessories necessary.

TIA

We have a boiling water tap (not a quooker) and it only takes boiling water from the small tank, your 'hot' water comes out as normal through the combi boiler.

I love my Quooker! Only the boiling water comes from it's tank.- otherwise it wouldn't be boiling. It's great and really does boil the water as I like my tea piping hot. Well worth it.

It depends what kind of system you choose I think. I think mine uses hot water for the washing up. And it needs to have time to heat up again to make cups of tea.

I think ours is a fusion?
But I should say you have to do quite a lot of washing up to use it all up and not be able to make a cup of tea. So doesn't happen often.
