4months post completion no docs

So it's now 4 months since we moved. And STILL no documentation received from the solicitors re the new property OR the deeds.
Anyone else?

Are you storing deed with your solicitor? It was months before I got any docs and I’ve never seen deeds as they are with my solicitor

(They clearly have them as I’m about to exchange so the other party have seen them!). Try not to worry - conveyencers are flat out right now

Especially if you have a mortgage- its all there, just not with you

Very normal at the moment I'm afraid. The hold up is the Land Registry, not the solicitor.

Been told verbally that it was registered with LR.

No mortgage

We completed at the end of November and got the deeds/land registry docs from our solicitors at the start of January. It was surprisingly quick!

Completed in September and still no documentation! I emailed a couple of weeks ago and they just said it's very slow at the moment.

I’ve never seen the deeds for my properties, they don’t automatically send them now.
