Porch door- help me decide!

We have a composite front door with a tiny obscure window. We are choosing a porch door and think we should have clear glass so that we can see who we are opening the door to, but we are undecided as to whether it should be clear or frosted. Thoughts please.....is it more secure to have the glass clear? Visitors may be able to see coats and shoes through clear glass....

Why not have a peephole in the door instead?

If you already have a front door with very little privacy, I'd just add clear glass so you can stand in the porch and see out. I don't think there's a lot of value in having it otherwise.
Do think carefully where your letter box will go. If it's too close to the ground, thieves can fish letters/parcels out. But equally when you go away, you don't want the world to see your post piling up. You can either get a mail bag that attaches to the back of the letterbox or better still, mount an exterior letter box.
