Splitting title

I want to sell part of my property ie the house and some land, but retain the remaining land, so I will need to split the title the Land Registry. Has anyone done this, please, what was involved, and was it straightforward?

Your solicitor doing the sale will prepare the transfer of part (TP1) to send with the contract documents. You’ll need to think about what rights and restrictions you want.

Get a decent plan prepared. The Land Registry has guidance on their requirements.
