Polymer skirting board

Am so silly!! I only ended up purchasing polymer skirting board, despite dh telling me a million times to ensure it's mdf!

What is polymer skirting? Is it plastic? Is it durable?

The problem we have is, we need a specific size and it's out of stock everywhere! Finally found this, it's the design we are after and the size is perfect! And only now realised it says polymer and not mdf! I was so focused on the size that I didn't realise it's not mdf.

Will it look fine aesthetically? Would you be able to tell it's plastic, if that's what it is

😭😭😭 I've got a headache from all this!!

Yes, it's the plastic type you might get in hospitals and offices. Think of skirting board made out of electric cable trunking.

Can you phone up and cancel the order if that's not what you want? Otherwise you'd end up paying to have to return it.

Actually, scrub that. Maybe not. Either way, I'd call up and confirm.

Yes ended up calling and cancelling it after watching a YouTube video. It's certainly not what I want

If it's of any use, we used www.skirting4u.co.uk for ours. They have a good range of styles and sizes, unless you want something very very specialist.

Thank you 😊 I ordered from myskirtingboards.co.uk I rang them first to ensure I was ordering correct this time
