Ikea kitchens - anyone know enough to compare Faktum v Metod?

I want to add more units to my kitchen which has Faktum units. I know they differ but am trying to see if I can match them as much as possible (it's white gloss and will be on its own wall).

Can you have Metod doors on base units that look like a single slab/cupboard but open up to have internal drawers? I can't see an image that shows that anywhere.

I dont know anything about faktum, but we are having and ikea metod kitchen and have designed a floor to cieling cupboard with multiple drawers inside so this is definitely possible

Ah, thank you. I can only see images showing external drawers (sometimes with internal drawers as well) or the slab door being used for bin storage.

Yes, they are incompatible but I have space for standalone units of 200cm long so was wondering if I could make it look as much like Faktum as possible. A slab door with internal drawers might work.

You could if they are on different walls. However just be aware they have different heights on the plinth. Metod is closer to the floor. You could put them on different legs to make them the same height from the floor but would need to have a non IKEA plinth panel.

And on your question about internal drawers, yes you can pack them out with with internal drawers.

Brilliant. Yes, just noticed that the distance from the floor means the doors are taller. I only want the shallower base units so may not be so noticeable where they are.
