Builders start tomorrow...what have we forgotten?

They are going to block off old conservatory and snug at back of house. Demolish it and outhouse and start building extension.

We will still be able to use the current v small kitchen that will eventually become a utility.

They have given an end date of September...there is stuff to do inside as well but they are starting with extension.

We’ve moved everything out.

We want them to plumb us in the washing machine temporarily and we need to find somewhere for the tumble dryer,

We need a cat flap somewhere too.

Had the gas disconnected yesterday.

We won’t have a back door till about June. .

Goodness that's a reverse of usual builder timeline! I would have thought that's a three month job to get 80% done, but maybe the job is more complicated than it sounds (I have done something similar a couple times, moving drains, adding toilet to extension etc). 6-7 months seems a very pessimistic estimate.
Just know dust will get inside, even if they block off the entrance with something solid. Good luck!
