Hi,
Anyone used wickes design and installation for a shower/wet room?
Hoping to get one fitted soon...

Yes. They use a fitter who can be hit and miss with skills. We had two bathrooms done by them. Designs were good, but it all hinges on the fitter.

We used Wickes for the bathroom in our flat about 5 years ago. It was....ok.

We've just had to have some of the floor tiles relaid as they didn't use a flexible glue and so the grouting was cracking, and they'd wired in the towel rail incorrectly. The tile cutting around the bath was pretty poorly done, leaving a too large gap that they filled in with sealant, but not very well, so we had that redone too.

Basically - it'll be hit and miss as to whether you get a decent fitter, but the quality of the fittings is fine. Just be ready to make a detailed snagging list and don't pay the last instalment until you're totally happy with the finish.
