Forever house

What age did you buy your 'forever' house? How did you know it was the one?

We've just recently moved into our current house. I'm 37. It's perfect, size, location etc. I would say it's out forever home. I don't ever want to move again! We're also mortgage free so we'll certainly not be upsizing. Even when dc leaves home I don't see why we would downsize.

Bought my current home aged 42 and intend to stay here until I’m too knackered to manage the stairs, which could be next year the way things are going!
