What worktops go with IKEA units

I am getting a lovely new IKEA kitchen but I'm not in love with any of the worktops. Budget-wise, I don't want to spend a thousand pounds on worktops. Neither do I want something cheapy. For one big 5m length worktop my budget would be about £500/600.

I liked solid laminate but it's too thin for my hob. I have discounted wood. I want shiny grey and my ideal would be ceramic but it's just so pricey. Things I like are all 600 depth and IKEA units need 635mm depth. Anyone got any great ideas? Would be grateful! 🤞

Duropal do some nice laminates that seem to be decent quality, hard wearing and not dated looking like traditional laminates (can get square edges, different thicknesses, some lovely grey stone, marble and even metal effect textures). I'm not sure you could get much other than laminate or wood for £500 - I think other worksurfaces tend to be more expensive, sorry.
